VPALAB - Computer Vision and Pattern Analysis Lab of Sabancı University has been established in 2001 with the aim of working out industrially applicable solutions using computer vision and pattern analysis techniques that are also theoretically fulfilling.

Even though VISTEK A.S. is a young company, founders of VISTEK A.S. have over twenty five years of experience in machine vision and have installed vision based systems all over the world. (Italy, Germany, U.S.) These facts have caused Vistek A.S. to become a market leader in a very short time. The mission of Vistek A.S. is to design, manufacture, and distribute, highly innovative solutions in machine vision based automation applications to its customers. Several applications have already been developed in automotive, LPG, glass, electronics, metalworking and food sectors, some as stand-alone systems, others as part of a larger piece of processing equipment.
